Q. What duty stations or locations would be on your dream sheet?
A. While I love our current location,
my dream sheet would be to relocate to Charleston SC USA. It is close to
the beach, is full of history and is a city full of hospitality and Southern
charm. Other than being the quintessential Hollywood of the South,
Charleston SC offers a variety of cultural flare that few cities can
replicate. I enjoy the lowcountry cuisine, and there is nothing like
shuckin’ a few oysters at an oyster roast. Besides navigating the
Intracoastal Waterway, touring many historic sites, partaking in outdoor
activities and discovering the blend old Southern charm with modern society, I
can think of no better way to spend the days strolling along Battery Park and
watching the waves effortlessly witness the architectural glory of days gone
by. Though the city remains, it’s people and the culture passed from
generation to generation is unique and appealing to us diehard Southerners.
