4Q2011 Results for Alfa Sugar

During Alfa Sugar's inception year as a blog, it has seen 2,327 all-time views from an international audience (such as USA, Sweden, Russia, United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, India, Romania, Singapore, Latvia and many others).  Positive feedback has been strong regarding the content of this blog as I believe that it discusses financial perspective in such a way that many seek without realizing the need.  For veterans, many have been able to gain some current information regarding their situation; though limiting, it is a key resource to filter through the red tape online.

Top three articles of interest for the quarter and year are:
1) No Pay if Fed Shutdown Occurs
2) Concurrent retirement and disability pay for our veterans
3) Veterans, the public is outraged at your cost of coming home

Many of our articles get posted according to the financial perspective that seems relevant at time of publication.  Our top article categories include military money, financial food for thought, personal spending, retirement and big picture (economy).

Alfa Sugar represents a former financial advisor who is completely independant of any and all financial insitutions.  This autonomy enables her to post relevant financial perspective that is unbiased yet current marketplace perspctive based off of over 20 years of experience and knowledge.   Please see disclaimer note.

Thank you for making 2011 a great year for Alfa Sugar.

Third Quarter Results for Alfa Sugar

As of September 30th, Alfa Sugar has had 1,491 hits since inception.  This little blog has seen an increase in activity, and for the month of September, we experienced 401 pageviews.  While a slim number compared to other great blogs, Alfa Sugar hasn't posted as much this past quarter as hoped.  Our traffic continues internationally from US, UK, Canada, Germany, Romania, Singapore, India, Russia, Hungary, Australia and other countries.  Our top three articles are 1) No Pay if Fed Shutdown Occurs  2) What is Alfa Sugar? and 3) Concurrent Retirement and Disability Pay for our Veterans.

Emphasis continues on military money matters.  I am a firm believer that women need to develop more confidence when it comes to money matters, especially military wives who endure the challenges of maintaining the homefront while their spouse serves.

Also, I have a soft heart for veterans and intend to get caught up on conducting research on military financial matters.  Future article(s) are in the queue.

Alfa Sugar is conducting investment research and analysis for future publication.  It's an exciting time in the financial markets where supply meets demand.   Many struggle to find employment and make ends meet while others get by with what limitations they've got.  I pray that you may find peace and contentment with whatever you have for there are things that money cannot buy.  I've been blessed with finding this gift of blogging and aspire for achieving the next level.  If you make an attempt to contact me, please leave a voicemail message as I am difficult to get via phone.  E-mail is another great way to get a question or comment through to Alfa Sugar.  Thank you for stopping by my blog.

Second Quarter 2011 Report

This second quarter at Alfa Sugar has seen some serious ups and downs.

First, the No Pay if Fed Shutdown Occurs article generated a high amount of interest where there were 490 hits in one day alone. (Over 600 in a two-day time period)

With all-time pageviews topping 807, it's been a neat second quarter.  I appreciate the readership interest and hope to square away current business activity and return to more writing.  This time of year proves to be busier than norm for me so that is why not as many articles have been published.

Top three articles for this second quarter at Alfa Sugar include the following:
1) No Pay if Fed Shutdown Occurs
2) What is Alfa Sugar?
3) a tie between
Concurrent Retirement & Disability Pay for our Veterans
&
American Families Reunite this Fourth of July

We have an international audience representing the following countries:  the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Romania, Singapore, India, Hungary, Russia, Turkey as well as a few others.

1Q2011 Report for Alfa Sugar

As each corporation must report quarterly numbers, Alfa Sugar's first quarter report is a celebration of the first month of startup

Back when asked to serve as Board Treasurer for Wives of Faith starting in 2010, I had no clue that saying yes would lead me to today writing and blogging about financial perspective for Alfa Sugar.  It's been an amazing journey, for as a military spouse who has endured deployments, TDYS, and all other matters, I can relate to many military spouses in ways I never anticipated.  Discussing, researching and blogging about relevant military money matters as well as other topics of interest stemming from a career on Wall Street  has been a blessing beyond measure.  To grow and evolve as I talk with fellow military spouses has made it liberating to know that I am not the only one experiencing this kind of chapter in life.  It's also been a life-saver for me as I've dealt with exiting the workforce and being a mother.  My knowledge, experience and education is serving another purpose that God truly redirected according to His will.  Creating this blog, Alfa Sugar, and imparting financial perspective generated directly from my independant research efforts fulfills a passion I have for the financial industry.  It is with great pleasure that I present the latest stats regarding our first month.

Since inception, Alfa Sugar has had over 130 pageviews from an international audience representing countries such as Australia, Belarus, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Russia and the United States of America.

Our top three articles were:
1) What is Alfa Sugar
2) Setting up House
3) Beware of Hidden Costs in your 401k

There are many military financial matters to review so we are making progress in providing the latest up to date information regarding military money.  I do post current and relevant topics along with links that directly support the article of interest.  Of course, please do your research and/or consult your personal financial advisor for more information.

As the blog evolves, let me thank you for your readership.  If you have any ideas or suggestions or even a kind word, please post below.  Improvements and modifications will occur to this site as it evolves.   Alfa Sugar is intended to be the go to blog for the latest financial perspective especially regarding military money matters for spouses and their families.
